Nadine Coyle

I’d like to say that i feel sorry for her ... But i don’t!..
It’s being reported today in national newspapers that Nadine Coyle has sold ... wait for it...! a MASSIVE 117 copies of her debut solo single, and it's only heading for a chart position of No.35 in the midweek chart. (the offical position will be revealed today by BBC Radio 1)
Even on downloads it’s only shifted a further 2,439 copies on Monday...

See Nadine, that Girls Aloud re-union isn’t such a bad idea now huh!

Christina Aguilera

Nice payday if ye can get it huh!... It’ s being reported that Christina Aguilera earned herself a MASIIVE $1 MILLION for ... Get this... a 1 HOUR performance at a Halloween party last weekend.
Christina Aguilera was booked by investment guru Charles Brandes for the private set...
The reported paycheque, reportedly confirmed by insiders close to Aguilera, equates to $16,666 (£10,390) per minute, in addition to payments for styling, travel and other related costs.
Sources connected to Brandes dispute the figure, however, and claim that the value investor only paid $500,000 (£311,716) for Aguilera to sing at the event at his San Diego estate... Mmm i like the ‘only paid’ part... Lmao!

Katherine Kelly

Coronation street actress Katherine Kelly (who play’s Becky) is gearing up to release her first single!
Last week, it was revealed that Katherine has recorded a special Corrie-themed song titled: ‘If It's Too Late’ which will be released on 6th December.
Speaking in a Sunday newspaper Katherine said: “I truly don't mind where it charts, I'm not a pop star. It's just been fun.”
Should be errr... interesting to hear!

Rihanna

Rihanna has admitted that she initially rejected the idea of recording a sequel song (with Eminem) to their global smash ‘Love the way you lie’
Rihanna initially feared undermining the track's success with a proposed follow-up for her new album ‘Loud’.
Speaking to a music channel Rihanna said “When I first heard the idea about doing a part two, I was just completely against it. I just felt like you couldn't beat the original. There's no way you can outdo that, so why compete with it?”
Later adding: “We heard a broken-down version that was stripped down, just piano... I fell in love with it. We recorded it, then we did another version to the stripped-down version with drums, then we did another version with drums and Eminem. And then that was the one that just felt really good. I love both. I love the broken-down version, as well as the new one with Eminem.”

I watched her performance on last nights X-Factor and it was absolutely fantastic!!!!

The Black Eyed Peas

Oh dear ... The Black Eyed Peas are being sued for alleged plagiarism for a second time! According to an entertainment channel Bryan Pringle filed a lawsuit in federal court in Santa Ana, California, claiming that The Peas plagiarised his song ‘Take a Dive’ in their global No.1 smash ‘I Gotta Feeling’.
A second lawsuit, originally filed back in January, was also re-entered in federal court in LA, alleging that The Peas other No.1 smash ‘Boom Boom Pow’ used elements of Phoenix Phenom's song ‘Boom Dynamite’.
Plaintiff lawyer Ira Gould said: “A simple listening of the two songs will tell you that the songs are substantially similar, and that the hooks of the two songs are virtually identical in rhythm and lyrics.”...
Other defendants named in the two suits include Interscope, UMG Records and EMI April Music. The plaintiffs are claiming monetary damages, including all net profits from the respective tracks and future royalties.

Nelly

Mmm... Can’t say i agree with you Nelly... He’s suggested that Kelly Rowland should return to her R&B roots if she wants to maintain her success in America.
He said that although he is a fan of her collaborations with David Guetta, her R&B tracks are more suited to the American market.
Speaking in a national newspaper Nelly is quoted as saying “Kelly is now known as a dance act in Europe and I'm really happy for her success. ‘Commander’ with David Guetta was incredible. She works so hard but over in the States they yearn for the R&B Kelly.
“It's a double-edged sword. But I understand where she's coming from. You have to be a versatile artist to survive, you can't just stick to one genre.”
Speaking of their new collaboration (the follow-up to their No.1 Dilemma) on his upcoming album, Nelly added: “It's always a pleasure to work with her. I went on tour with her in 2001 when she was in Destiny's Child, so we're tight. She's beautiful, talented and a real joker.”
He added that they would be ‘fools’ not to recreate the ‘magic’ of their 2002 duet 'Dilemma'.
