Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue has announced that she plans to release a remixed greatest hits album... (thank god it’s not another ‘normal’ greatest hits)
Kylie was in London yesterday where she performed an acoustic set of her well-known hits for BBC Radio 2 including: ‘Can't Get You Out Of My Head’, ‘All The Lovers’ and ‘In My Arms’
Speaking at Maida Vale studios, she said: “Thanks in no small part to the BBC, I've always loved working with an orchestra and doing acoustic sets, so we're looking to put together an album of the various songs in this kind of manner.”
Kylie also revealed that her acoustic performance of ‘Can't Get You Out Of My Head’ will be the B-side to her FANTASTIC new single ‘Better than today’... love to see this hit No.1

Westlife

Westlife have responded to Brian McFadden’s return to the band saying that it would be ‘boring’... Sorry to burst your bubble Brian! Earlier this week, Brain said that he is ‘Ready’ to reunite with his former band mates to take on the newly-reformed Take That.
However Shane Filan told a national newspaper that Brain McFadden’s offer will not be taken up... (Good on ye lads!)
Shanes is quoted as saying: “I don't think it's even remotely interesting if Brian came back... “Brian left because he didn't like being in the band. It wasn't because we fell out. For us as a band, we never split up. We've kept going and are very happy... “If another person came in it would be like restarting a new band.”
In reference to the comparisons between Brian’s prospective return and Robbie William's rejoining Take That, Shane said: “Robbie Williams coming back to Take That was a big announcement... “He's the biggest male solo performer of the past 20 years. You can't compare it.”
Ha-ha ha ha Brain!

'N Sync

Now i have to admit this made me laugh this morning after learning that Lance Bass said that he and his former 'N Sync band mates have no plans to reunite in the future... I’d love to see Justin Timberlake’s face when someone suggests that to him! - Lmao
Speaking to an Entertainment channel Lance said: “I don't see that coming anytime soon,” ... “Justin’s very busy with his acting career right now so I think it's going to be quite a while before we even think about doing anything.”
However, Lance did say that he would be interested in reuniting in the future, adding: “I love being on the stage. So yeah, anytime the guys would want to do an album, I'm in!” – i bet you are, actually... who’s Lance Bass...?

Mini Viva

It doesn’t really come as a surprise but Mini Viva have confirmed that they have split up.
Mini Vivi hit the Top10 with their debut single ‘Left my heart in Tokyo’ last year, but the follow-up singles ‘I wish’ and ‘One touch didn’t even get into the Top40 - charting at numbers 73 and 114 respectively.
In a statement band member Britt Love said: “First off all we would like to apologise for not being able to tell you sooner what was going on with Mini Viva,”... “It was something we had to decide for ourselves first and of course it was a big decision. “Both of us felt like the time was up for Mini Viva. We had tried so much and so had everyone who was supporting us. But sometimes things just don’t work out the way you would like them to.”
She continued: “We would just like to take this time to thank every single one of you for supporting us on our journey! We could not have asked for more loyal fans than you guys!”

Leona Lewis

Congratulations go to Leona Lewis who has just become the 14th female singer to have a million-selling single in the UK.
Leona’s global No.1 single passed the ONE MILLION mark following Matt Cardle's performance on ‘The X Factor’, the song sold 1,117 copies bringing it’s UK sales to 1,000,534. (giving Lewis the 103rd single to notch up a million sales based on data from the OCC).

Pulp

Fantastic news! Pulp have just announced that they are getting back together and will reform a couple of festivals next year!
In a press release it read: “Pulp have decided to get together and play some concerts next summer. The shows will involve all the original members of the band (Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackay, Russell Senior & Mark Webber) & they will play songs from all periods of their career (Yes, that means they'll be playing your favourites).” It went on to name specific concert dates: “Wireless Festival (Sunday, July 3) and Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival (Friday, May 27) but described these dates as “the first shows”.

I used to love this band; it’d be great to hear some of their classic tracks live like: ‘Common people’ and Disco 2000.

Dizzee Rascal & Cheryl Cole

Gone are the days when two artists liked each other and decided to do a duet together (as in, in person) Dizzee Rascal has revealed that he is yet to even hear his collaboration with Cheryl Cole.
Dizzee features on Cheryl’s album track ‘Everybody, Everyone’ but he’s admitted that it’s like the duet “never happened”.
Speaking in a national newspaper Dizzee is quoted as saying: “It was like it never happened. I never saw her”... “They sent me three tracks and I basically picked the one I thought would be best. It saves money on planes: imagine going halfway across the world in first class then deciding that you don't like the person...”
Stupid if you ask me! I think two artist collaborating should be done because they genuinely like and respect each other and each other work and not for MONEY.

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she has begun working on a new album.
Christina only released her 4th album ‘Bionic’ earlier this year, she revealed that the new album will be “introspective” and have “a different vibe.
Speaking to a magazine she said: “Now I'm actually in the studio recording the next album, which has a different vibe... “I think now we're back to going a little deeper, in the vein where I recorded my ‘Stripped’ record, which was very personal and more introspective.”

Christina’s current album has been a global flop selling less than a million copies worldwide,
despite going to No.1 in the UK it was declared the lowest-selling UK number one in album chart history.

Cheryl Cole

Congratulations to Cheryl Cole who has landed a record deal in America worth a staggering £6 MILLION!

Cheryl made a flying visit L.A this week where she hammered out the lucrative contract with record company Universal.
According to reports Universal has offered to release her new album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ in America next year, in addition to two more albums.
According to a national newspaper a source is quoted as saying: “Cheryl got a call from some very senior people at Universal saying they wanted to see her. They are the kind of people who when they say, 'Jump,' you ask, 'How high?”... “So she jumped on a plane and went to LA for 36 hours. Derek [Hough] was there to ferry her to-and-fro and give her support as these big execs can be quite scary.”

Bosses at Universal are said to have called Cheryl Cole last Sunday night
