Posting a link to the song on her Twitter page, she wrote: “Preview of my new single. ps - video looks LOVELY!”

Brace yourselves for Spice Girl part duex! ‘cos Geri Halliwell is reportedly forming a new version of the Spice Girls.According to a Sunday newspaper Geri wants to recreate the energy of the original band with a new line-up, Their source is quoted as saying: “This is very exciting for her. She's been painstakingly putting together the new band. She wants to combine the energy and drive of the Spice Girls... “She's been keeping it quiet because she doesn't want to jinx anything but she has told the other girls and they are very supportive, “Geri has already introduced the band to some key music executives and quite a few of the labels have already taken a keen interest. She believes the time is right for another girl band to take over the world.”

Glastonbury 2011

The 2010 festival has only just finished and work has already started on the 2011 line up, Event founder Michael Eavis has revealed that he has chosen two of the headlining acts for next year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Speaking to BBC News Michael revealed that he’s is “absolutely thrilled” with his choices, but he didn't specify who they are... but did say that he has already asked U2 to perform on the Friday night, but the band have yet to respond...

Katy Perry

Oh dear, Oh dear ... Katy Perry is getting into some hot water over her global No.1 smash ‘California Gurls’
Legal representatives for The Beach Boys have allegedly requested that Katy Perry's record label give Brian Wilson and Mike Love song writing credits and royalties from the track
Katy’s hit is said to feature elements of the band's 1965 song ‘California Girls’.
According to an American newspaper, representatives at Rondor Music contacted Katy’s label Capital Records concerning the similarities.
The source claimed: “Rondor Music has sent a letter to Capitol on behalf of Mike Love and Brian Wilson, saying Katy has cribbed one of the most famous lyrics in history, so Love and Wilson should be entitled to a writing credit and a portion of the royalties.”...
A spokesperson for Wilson said: “Rondor owns the track and called Brian and Mike, saying they were going to complain. Brian likes Katy's record and doesn't know where the situation stands.”

Mike Love’s rep added: “Mike and Brian wrote the song... but any legal action is up to Rondor.”

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s record label have got to rush-release her new single because someone has leaked it online.
Last month Taylor confirmed that ‘Mine’ would be the first track released (on the 16th August) from her new album ‘Speak Now’
In a statement, Big Machine Records confirmed that the track had been made available on iTunes straight away, hours after it leaked online.
The statement read: “An unauthorised low-quality mp3 file of the single appeared online earlier today,”... "As the low-quality file started to spread virally the decision was made to rush release ‘Mine’ to iTunes and Country radio to ensure that Taylor’s fans were able to hear the single as she intended.”

‘Mine’ is already No.1 on the US iTunes chart.

Taylor Swift commented on the songs quick success on her Twitter account: “I landed in Japan and got 20 texts and looked at iTunes and got tears in my eyes. And so, we begin again.”

Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon have officially confirmed the details of their upcoming fifth album... and it’s titled ‘Come around Sundown’ and will be released on 19th October.
The band has already previewed four of the tracks from the album at a recent gig in London's Hyde Park.
Working titles for the songs reportedly include ‘Radioactive’, ‘Immortal’ and ‘Southbound’.

George Michael

George Michael’s debut solo album ‘Faith’ is being reissued on 27th September which will be almost 23 years after its first release.
The album which went to No.1 in the UK and America back in October 1987 has gone on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide.
Sony Music confirmed that the re-mastered album will be released in multiple special formats, including a Limited Edition Numbered Collectors box set.
The album was produced and written entirely by George Michael, with the exception of one track which he co-wrote.

Ruth Lorenzo

Ruth Lorenzo has confirmed that she has split from her record company EMI before she has even released any material!
Ruth signed a deal in April last year and had been working on her debut album. However, in a blog post earlier this week, Ruth revealed that she had parted ways with the label because of ‘creative differences’.
She said: “Many of you have been asking about my forthcoming album, a project which has been in development for two years,”... “I have been working with some extremely talented writers and producers on a collection of songs of which not only I am proud of, but which represents who I am as an artist, writer and performer - an album that is true to my character and that hopefully will stand the test of time.” ... She continued: “It is with this artistic integrity at heart, that I have decided to part with my label, EMI - due to creative differences to pursue my career as an independent artist... “Throughout this time I have been overwhelmed by your support and enthusiasm - you have given me the energy to wake up every day and fight for what I believe in. This album was not just for me - it was for you - my fans - and the very reason that it has taken so much time to get where we are today is because I was trying to make an album that you deserve, not another expendable pop record that remains forgotten in time.”

Ruth said that she would be funding her debut album herself with help from fans, who in return would be given “cool exclusives, signed limited editions, visits to the studio, signed original artwork and much more”
