The Saturdays have revealed that their new single “Forever is over” (which I blogged about last month) was originally written for Kelly Clarkson!“Forever is over” is written by former “Busted” member James Bourne, was snapped up by the girls as their first release from their second album titled “Wordshaker”
“We heard the song playing while at our record company and went into the office where James was talking to the head of the label,” Mollie King told the Daily Star.
“We said: 'We have to have that song'. Then we found out that Kelly Clarkson was fighting for it but he gave it to us. James is lovely...” – This would explain why I said the track sounds like they were screaming … The key in which it was meant to be sung is obviously for someone who can hit it … like Kelly Clarkson!
