Ooops! ~ Looks like 2010 has already got off to a horrible start for ‘Girls Aloud’ star: Nadine Coyle as she’s reportedly failed to sign a record contract.
According to a national newspaper Nadine had hoped to produce solo material during the year off that Girls Aloud took.
EVEN Girls Aloud's label Polydor has allegedly turned her down, while other record companies have also refused to sign her up.“Nadine had meetings but none of the Universal labels wanted to take her on,” a source claimed. “She's tried to get a deal elsewhere but with no luck.” However, on the upside Nadine (who has been working with Guy Chambers (of Robbie Williams fame) has allegedly signed a deal with EMI for her songwriting... not exactly Cheryl Cole success huh ... good, might wipe that smug cocky smile off her face!

Why reprint a lie? I am very disappointed by The Sun article stating Nadine Coyle as being label-less and passed over. It is absolutely incorrect as is their 'source' totally unreliable.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they should have contacted me, Nadine's worldwide manager or her publicist Barbara Charone rather than reporting un-researched and misleading information. The truth is Nadine was pursued by labels from EVERY major label group and was also given the choice of signing with ANY Universal label, all of whom wanted her.
Selection of a label was a very complex process and an important choice for Nadine to make. That selection has been made and the deal done. That announcement will be forthcoming shortly. Plans for the release, a tv special, live shows, and much more is already in the works
Perhaps you might wish to print the truth and report it on your pages as well as the list of major writers and producers that she is working with, all of whom rave about her superstar voice, talent and lovely personality.
Bruce Garfield-Manager of Nadine Coyle
Thanks Mr. Garfield for your post!
ReplyDeleteI did look up several website (including Nadine’s Facebook) before posting my blog.
I have followed Nadine’s carrier since her days when she auditioned in Ireland for ‘Popstars’ and throughout Girls Aloud (which i have every single and album released)
I will look forwarded to listening and re-viewing her debut release...
Cheers
Alan
