Eminem's ‘Recovery’ stays at No. 1 in the US Album charts for a seventh week after selling a further 116,000 copies (seriously, is there anybody who hasn’t got this album...?) ‘Recovery’ also earns its eighth consecutive week of selling at least 100,000 copies -- its entire chart life!
‘Recovery’ also notches the most weeks at No. 1 for a male artist's album since Usher’s ‘Confessions’ stay at No.1 back in 2004
Eminem and Rihanna also remain at No.1 in the US singles chart for a 6th week!

Overall album sales in this past chart week totalled 5.06 million up 2% compared to the sum last week (4.95 million) and down 11% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (5.70 million). Year to date album sales stand at 190.2 million, down 12% compared to the same total at this point last year (216.8 million).
