However, the Fab Four did win the decade's biggest-selling track with ‘She Loves You’, while ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ finished second.
Broadcasting on Radio 2, DJ Tony Blackburn said: “It comes as no surprise to see the Fab Four at number one, but other aspects of the chart are perhaps a little unexpected.”
