Well they didn’t last long huh ... Girls Can't Catch have confirmed that they have split up.
Fans (did they have any?) were made aware of the split when a spokesperson for their record label, Fascination, told a teen mag that the group ‘unfortunately are no longer signed to us’.
The band consisting of: Daizy Agnew, Phoebe Brown and Jess Stickley, released their debut single ‘Keep your head up’ (which peaked at number 26 in the charts), last August. Follow-up single ‘Echo’ didn't do much better, peaking at number 19 in January.
Posting on her Twitter account Daizy said: “Sadly its over for GCC. We have an incredible year! Thank you so much for your support. It was a pleasure to share this experience with Jess and Phoebe. I will pursue other projects. I don't believe in giving up. Thank you once again for everything,” ... “And yes I will be going solo, I've got this far I'm not going to stop now. I wish the girls the best of luck, they are fantastic people.”
Girls Can’t Catch supported both Girls Aloud and the Jonas Brothers on their most recent tours, had been expected to release their debut album later this year.
