US Charts

The Black Eyed Peas today made U.S. Chart history by holding onto the No.1 spot for an 8th week in the U.S. with their single “I gotta feelin’”, This now means the band have been continuously No.1 in the singles chart for a record breaking 20 weeks! Having previously led the list for the prior 12 weeks with “Boom Boom Pow”
The previous record was held by Usher, when he was No.1 with his single’s “Yeah!” & “Burn” back in 2004.
Also in the record books is Jason Mraz with his smash hit “I’m yours”, it spends an unimaginable 70th week on the chart! This record was previously held by LeAnn Rimes’ single “How do I live” back in 1997 which spent a MASSIVE 69 weeks on the chart! (Personally I prefer LeAnn to Jason any day!)
On the album front country star George Strait (who has sold more than 73 million records) rockets straight into the No.1 spot
