It’s a sad day learning that EMI Records has put London's Abbey Road studios up for sale!The iconic recording base, located in St John's Wood and immortalized by The Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road, is being made available by the company's owners Terra Firma.
As well as The Beatles, iconic bands like: Oasis, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Pink Floyd and Radiohead have recorded at Abbey Road.
Abbey Road was first opened in 1931 by the Gramophone Company, (which later became EMI)
