Steve Brookstein

Here’s another blast from the past... The very first ‘X-Factor’ winner (back in 2004): Steve Brookstein has said that he regrets falling out with Simon Cowell.
Steve scored a number one single and album way back then but disagreed with his mentor (Simon) over songwriting issues and was then released from the media mogul's record label.
“This is what happens when you fall out with Simon Cowell,” he told a Sunday newspaper
Steve was speaking following his performance at a pub in Cornwall, which attracted just 50 people... Ooops!
Lesson to be learned here is at least make your first million before you go off on one when someone has vastly more experience (and cash)!

  1. Is that really the lesson? So you should take any shit as long as the shit-giver is rich and powerful? Hmmm! On another note I think Steve might have done better not to model himself on Jeremy Clarkson. Beautifully written by the way. <3

  2. Oh, and as I've said in another place THANKS VERY MUCH FOR INTRODUCING ME TO CHRIS SALVATORE. You are a genius of taste and sophistication (can I expect the money soon?). ;-D
