A sheet of paper which has John Lennon’s hand-written song lyrics is expected to sell for up to $700,000 (£450,000).The double-sided sheet features Lennon's lyrics to the Beatles song ‘A Day in the Life’. It also contains other notes penned in red ink.
‘A Day in the Life’ is the final track on the Beatles 1967 massive hit album ‘Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band’.
It has been said that the sheet could break the record for Beatles lyrics, set by ‘All You Need Is Love’, which was sold for $1m (£600,000) in 2005.
