US Charts

Katy Perry remains at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week with “California Gurls’.
In the album charts Eminem’s ‘Recover’ remains at No.1 for a second week after selling another 313,000 copies! In two weeks the album has shifted 1.1 million copies in the U.S. It's the first release to sell in excess of 300,000 for multiple weeks since Susan Boyle’s ‘I Dreamed a Dream’.

Overall album sales in this past chart week totalled 5.54 million down 9% compared to the sum last week (6.07 million) and down 20% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.96 million). Year to date album sales stand at 154.0 million, down 11% compared to the same total at this point last year (172.9 million)
