Is it just me or is this just weird ... The Backstreet Boys have confirmed that they are to embark on a special cruise later this year.The guys will take a four-day trip with a select group of fans in December, where fans will get the chance to meet the guys as well as watch them perform on the boat.
The package (which is to leave port in Florida on 9th December) also promises a series of themed parties and organized activities.
“This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that the boys will embark on and share with you, the fans,” a statement from Backstreet Boys read... “Some of the fun things on tap are, an intimate performance by the Backstreet Boys, Q&A, photo session, deck party and beach party. All events are hosted by the Boys.”
Last year, New Kids On The Block offered a similar trip to fans on a summer Caribbean cruise.
More than weird! It's sort of creepy. It sounds almost as tho' they're repositioning themselves for the cruise market - leathery blue rinsed Florida retirees! Yet they're not that old. Old, yes! But not that old! Aren't all boy bands weird once they're not boys? You'll be going, of course. ;)

ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth a friend of mine, who was to have been going to Nottingham on the 8th(?), was intitially told that his tickets would be ok, but has now been told that he has to return them to get new ones. He can't get any information about what's happening. Love, Alec
