Good news for all Beastie Boys fans! Adam Yauch has said that his health is improving, (according to ‘Entertainment Weekly’).
Adam was diagnosed with a cancerous parotid gland back in July 2009 and underwent surgery on his salivary gland and radiation therapy following the diagnosis.
As a result, the group postponed work on their upcoming album and delayed an impending tour.
On Thursday Adam announced that his health is continuing to improve and he has begun work on the album again... “I feel better,” ... “It was touch and go there for a while, but I am finally getting my energy back.”
He went onto say that the group members are planning to meet to edit its upcoming album.
“I was just talking to Adam (Horovitz) and Mike (D) today on the phone and we were talking about working on it a bit”... “We finished the record over a year ago, so we want to take a look at it and re-evaluate and make sure it is what we want to put out there and that we are still happy with it.”
‘Hot Sauce Committee Part 1,’ there eighth studio album, will be released in September.
